Morning Services begin at 10:30 and include an all age time, Praise, Worship, Prayer and a message.Bread and wine

Morning Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 5th Sundays of the month.

Evening Cafe Services are on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 6 pm.  Smaller in number we gather around a table with tea, coffee and biscuits. Worship is modern, prayer is open to anyone who wants to pray and instead of a sermon is a discussion and time of reflection.

Evening Communion is on the 4th Sunday of the month.

Jesus and Me (JAM) is the name for the Junior Church.  The beginning of the service is all age inclusive. After this the children go through to the large hall for a variety of activities which are suitable for their age and help bring the
story of Jesus alive.

The children gather together in the large hall prior to the start of the service

Profiles of those who help lead JAM can be found on the Who’s who? page.

Praying Hands

A Prayer Space is available before the service in the small hall.

A weekly Prayer Meeting is held on the Small Hall on Tuesday Mornings at 10 am

On Easter Sunday 1990 the congregations from West Park Street Baptist, the Methodist (formerly Wesleyan) and the U.R.C. (known locally as the Congregational) churches recognised their unity in Christ and chose to physically become one congregation.            It was then the name Emmanuel was adopted as the name for a new single congregation.
